Step 1 – Take an off-centre partition, lower than your usual position.

Step 2 – Secure the back half of your hair into a ponytail.

Step 3 – Make a French braid using the unsecured front part, and secure the braid with an elastic band. Make sure to leave a little bit of hair unbraided.

Step 4 – Using the unbraided part of the braid, twirl it around the ponytail.

And VOILA! A simple ponytail made into a fun hairstyle you can wear for a casual day out.  😀 😀

Ombre Hairstyles

The Ombre, which means “shaded” in French, is the gradual blending of one colour hue to another from light to dark, usually moving tints and shades. Here is a highlight reel of three Ombre Hairstyles; ‘The Mocha Ombre’, ‘Inside Out Ombre’, and ‘Soft Ombre’ hair colour.

Braided Hairstyles | Rope Braid Headband

Using braids as a makeshift headband is a pretty common idea for a quick-fix for your hair to stay in place. Here’s a video that shows how you can use the rope braid as a headband.

Step 1 – Take an ear-to-ear section and secure the upper side with a clip.

Step 2 – Take a small section of hair from right behind your ear, and make a rope braid. Secure the end of the rope braid with the an elastic band.

Step 3 – Open the upper section which you secured earlier, and comb all your hair  backward.

Step 4 – Place the rope braid horizontally, like a headband, across your hair and secure it on the other side with bobby pins.

(Optional )

Step 5 – Take some hair from the other side, and make another rope braid.

Step 6 – Bring the second rope across, from behind.

Step 7 – Use a little hair, and attach the rope braid with an elastic band.

AND YOU’RE DONE 😀

Flip The Beard Braid – Braid Hack

Braiding by yourself can be difficult, especially when you’re an amateur. Here’s a simple hack/trick you can do to help your braid woes.

Step 1 – Take a center partition of your hair.

Step 2 – Bring your hair to the front.

Step 3 – Braid under your chin. A Dutch braid under your chin will result in a French braid, and vice versa.

Step 4 – Once you’re done braiding all the way, secure it with an elastic band. Use a little bit of leftover hair at the bottom to cover the elastic band; if you want to.

Step 5 – Slowly and carefully, hold the braid on either side, and flip it over your head.

AND VOILA 😀 YOU’RE DONE! 😀 😀 😀
